Compared to free gingival graft, subepithelial connective tissue graft or guided tissue regeneration, the indication of semilunar coronally repositioned flap in root coverage is more limited. We would like to present an interesting case with this specific technique in covering the crown of an ankylosed tooth. Its clinical advantages and limitations were also discussed.
