    Title: 研究七層塔在不同氧化壓力下的抗氧化能力
    Antioxidant properties of Ocimum gratissimum reduced injury from oxidative stress in varying degrees.

    Abstract: 目的:肝臟參與幾種蛋白質,脂質,血細胞和毒性的合成代謝以及分解代謝反應化合物,因此當肝臟發生任何問題的影響將對人類健康造成沉重的負擔。氧化壓力在許多文獻上被指出造成組織中的氧化損傷並且參與許多肝臟疾病的形成。所以,代謝問題嚴重影響肝臟,也因此我們需要極大關注在許多天然植物中可以有效地做為肝臟保護劑。七層塔(Ocimum gratissimum),它被發現擁有優良的鎮痛效果並且與其他草藥合併使用不會對動物體造成任何毒性因此常用作為民俗治療的草藥。此外,在最近小鼠的發炎症狀反應研究中。它的甲醇提取物含有豐富的黃酮類化合物,單寧,皂?,類固醇,生物鹼等,表現了優良肝功能保護作用。從以上種種文獻來看七層塔豐含多種有益植物性多酚,可能有助於治療肝臟氧化壓力。
    方法:在本研究中,我們嘗試建立三種不同氧化壓力狀況,第一組為模擬正常,沒有外在環境或內在因素來影響氧化狀態;第二組是透過高溫和潮濕負面影響形成熱緊迫產生來自環境影響所形成的氧化壓力,第三組是透過注射鏈?佐菌素(Streptozotocin)破壞腎臟β細胞產生一型糖尿病產生來自疾病的氧化壓力。
    結果:第一個實驗:我們將七層塔用於粉末混合基礎日糧作為天然食品添加劑,提高雞的抗氧化能力。結果顯示氧化程度略有下降受到mda評分的壓力在0.3%和0.5%的最大治療組中。第二個實驗:在溫度和極高濕度下,雞會在如此嚴苛環境影響下,產生熱緊迫現象,然而由於在實驗環境落差下,本次實驗的雞群並未盡然表現熱緊迫現象,而在七層塔用於粉末混合基礎日糧下,並未達到顯著差異,但是在實驗記錄中發現在餵食經七層塔處理飼料之雞隻其免疫力有提升。第三實驗:我們使用七層塔水萃物粉末混合飲用水來改善注射Streptozotocin(鏈?佐菌素)導致1型糖尿病小鼠的抗氧化能力。結果顯示,由於染病時間過短導致氧化壓力並無完整傷害肝臟而未達到顯著差異而在實驗記錄中卻發現糖尿病組小鼠飲用經七層塔處理食用水其血糖有顯著下降。
    結論:七層塔是一種潛在的天然抗氧化添加劑,減少氧化壓力造成的傷害。
    Objetives:Liver is involved in anabolic and catabolic reactions of several protein, lipids, blood cells and toxic compounds,thus any problematic effects on it will cause heavy burden on human health.Oxidative stress has been indicated to induce oxidative damage in tissues and constituted an important background of numerous liver disorders.therefore, metabolic problems seriously affect liver, which needs to pay great attention on plants can efficiently behave as hepatoprotectants.Ocimum gratissimum,It is used in folk medicines for its analgesic effective concentration, when used in combination with other herbs do not cause any toxicity in animal body.Moreover, it is also responsible for anti-inflammatory effects in mice in recent research.Its methanolic extract is rich with flavonoids,tannins, saponins, steroids,alkaloids etc, which are responsible for its hepatoprotective effects. Thus it is a rich source of phytochemicals and may also be helpful in the treatment of oxidative stress in liver.
    Materials and Method: In this study, we attempted to establish three of oxidative stress conditions.The first experiment was to simulated normal situation without external or internal environment factors to influence the oxidation state;The second experiment is the formation of heat stress through the negative effects of high temperature and humidity to produce oxidative stress from environmental influences;The third experiment was aim to form oxidative stress from disorder which suffered from type 1 diabetes by injection of STZ (Streptozotocin) to destroy kidney beta cells.
    Results: The first experiment:Ocimum gratissimum for powder-mixed basal diets as a natural food additive to improve the antioxidant ability of chickens. the results showed slight decline degree of oxidative stress by mda score in 0.3% and 0.5% Ocimum gratissimum treatment groups;The second experiment:due to the deviation of experimental environment,many of the chickens did not show the heat stress phenomenon. In diets with Ocimum gratissimum, there was no significant difference, but in the experimental records,it was found that the immunity of the chickens fed the Ocimum gratissimum was improved;The third experiment: aqueous extract of Ocimum gratissimum used to mix in drinkng water to improve the antioxidant ability of type 1 diabetes mice .The results showed that it did not reach significant difference because of the time suffered from diabetes is too short. In the experimental records, it was found that the mice in the diabetic group had a significant decrease in blood glucose after drinking water treated with Ocimum gratissimum.
    Conclusion: These results indicated that Ocimum gratissimum was a potential natural additives as antioxidant to reduced injury from oxidative stress.
