    Title: 牙醫診所內局部排氣裝置之效能評估
    Performance Evaluation of Local Exhaust System in the Dental Clinic

    Abstract: 本研究針對牙醫診所內之局部排氣裝置,進行其生物氣膠除塵效能評估。本研究共採集3天次,共完成258樣本,主要為可培養之細菌為主。採樣方法為被動式採樣及MAS-100 兩者進行細菌採樣,以量測其局部排氣裝置之除塵效率,並建立其除塵效率評估方法。
    結果發現,在防護面罩上之5.5cm培養皿被動式採樣時,局部排裝置關閉不使用時濃度高於局部排氣裝置使用時(p=0.005),並且平均除塵效率為75.6±27.5%。使用MAS-100時,則顯示局部排裝置在開啟時會降低生物氣膠濃度 (p=0.018),且於平均除塵效率為67.40±9.99%。但其採樣器需置於局部排氣裝置的之相對側且須將MAS-100採樣器呈現垂直狀使用。於病患上使用局部排氣裝置,先使用時採樣與後使用時採樣,兩者並無顯著(p=0.917)。於,在未使用局部排氣裝置時,於防護面罩的嘴部可採集到最多的細菌菌落樣本 (p=0.003);若使用局部排氣裝置時,則防護面罩各部位皆無顯著差異 (p=0.19)。所採到的菌種以革蘭氏陽性球菌為最多
    This study collected bacterial bioaerosols in a dental clinic and bacteria deposited on the facial shield of the dentist to evaluat the emission of bioaerosols during the dental treatments. And set up the rules to test filtration efficiency of the local exhaust equipment. Bioaerosol samples were collected by MAS-100.
    When the local exhaust (LE) equipment turned on, we collected fewer bacterial biosampler on the facial shield (p=0.005). The LE efficiency was 75.6±27.5%. We got lower concentration of bacterial bioaerosols by MAS-100, when local exhaust equipment turned on (p=0.018). The LE efficiency was 67.4±1.0%.
    MAS-100 should be set up at the different side which local exhaust equipment be used and head of MAS-100 should change to be vertical. When the local exhaust equipment turned off, we can collect most concentration of bacterial biosampler on mouth area of the facial shied (p=0.003). In this study, the most predominant bacterium in the air was Gram positive cocci. It was suggested that the dental practitioners should wear personal protective equipments (PPE) and use local exhaust equipment to control the bacterial bioaerosol exposure.
