    摘要: 炭角菌科 (Xylariaceae) 真菌,屬於子囊菌類真菌,全世界至少有八百個品種分佈在寒帶至熱帶區域。在台灣,關於炭角菌科真菌的調查指出,已有一百二十三個品種被記錄。其中,包括了一個新的Hypoxylon品種、一個新的Rosellini品種、一個新的Xylaria品種和兩個新的Nemania品種。在這些品種當中,炭角菌屬 (Xylaria) 真菌有四十九種。
    我們藉由成長中的Arabidopsis種子作為真菌萃取物初步篩選的導向,進一步探索新的天然產物。當施予Xylaria bambusicola的萃取物時,發現了對於生長中的Arabidopsis有顯著的影響。為了發現新的具有生物活性以及對生物型態有活性的天然產物,我們做了關於炭角菌屬真菌之二次代謝物分離純化、結構鑑定之研究。目前,從Xylaria bambusicla真菌分離得到五個化合物,分別為ergosterol peroxide (1), ergosta-4,6,8(14),22-tetraen-3-one (2), ergosterol-7,22-dien-3b-ol (3), 和uracil (4), 4-isopropylnaphthalene-1,6-dicarboxylic acid (5)。所有化合物之化學結構經光譜分析和與已知化合物文獻比對後確定。其中,化合物 (5) 是新化合物,化合物 (1) 和 (3) 為首次從該屬真菌中分離得到之化合物。

    The family Xylariaceae (Ascomycota) comprises at least 800 species, which are distributed throughout the temperate and tropical regions worldwide. A survey on the Xylariaceae in Taiwan reported 123 species, including one new Hypoxylon species, one new Rosellinia species, one new Xylaria species, and two new combinations of Nemania, in Taiwan island. Among them, there were 49 species of Xylaria found in Taiwan.

    In our preliminary screening on the extracts of formosan fungi by phenotype change in the postembryonic development of Arabidopsis seedlings to explore novel natural products, a significant change was observed by treating with the extract of X. bambusicola. To identify novel natural chemicals with biological activities and to characterize the chemical biology of purified fungal compounds in plant development, we made a systematic study on the isolation, structural elucidation of secondary metabolites of this xylariaceous fungus. Till now, several compounds were isolated from this fungus in our lab. Five of them have been identified as ergosterol peroxide (1), ergosta-4,6,8(14),22-tetraen-3-one (2), ergosterol-7,22-dien-3b-ol (3), uracil (4), 4-isopropylnaphthalene-1,6-dicarboxylic acid (5). The structures of all isolates were elucidated by 1D- and 2D NMR spectroscopic analysis and compared with literature data of known compounds. Among them, compound 5 is a new compound, and compounds 1and 3 are isolated from this fungus for the first time.
