From the leaf of Rhododendron ellipticum beta-carotene, sitosterol, uvaol, quercetin, myricetin, quercitrin, myricitrin, hyperin, quercetin 3-glucoside, and the new aglycone quercetin 5,4'-dimethyl ether were characterized by spectroscopic analysis and/or comparison with authentic samples.
