O. Ktze](=Flemingia congesta Robx.)

Moghania macrophylla (Willd.) O. Ktze (=Flemingia congesta Robx.) (Leguminosae) is a folk medicine which has been used for anti-inflammatory, rheumatism and anti-allergy in Taiwan and Southern China. In a preliminary bioassay, the methanolic extract of roots from the plant showed significant activity in antipatelet aggregation and antiinflammation activity in vitro assay. Therefore, we study the extractions, purifications and structure determinations of this plant to research its active principles.
