    摘要: Analysis Treatment for SARS with Traditional Chinese Medical Literatures Based on Seasonal Febrile Diseases and Pestilence Hsien-Cheh Chang, Kuei-Hua Tsai, Jen-Shu Wang, Sheng-Feng Hsu School of Chinese Medicine, China Medical University Taihchung, Taiwan, R.O.C. SARS, arrived like an abrupt disaster and gravely harmed our society and economy. Although the SARS infection in Taiwan is under control now, when it will explore again, none would be able to tell. Accordingly, how to prevent SARS from exploring again turns to be an important task for the government. This previous SARS seriously infected area, Guang Zhou, Pe King in Mainland China, and Hong Kong, tried to adopt the treatment combined western medicine with Chinese medicine, and it did result of an impressive curative effect. From this experience, Chinese medicine is seen to be a critical part in SARS prevention research. Even SARS is a new merged disease, it does not concern with the diagnosis of traditional Chinese medicine. The manner of traditional Chinese medicine is usually diagnosed from aetiology and symptoms, therefore, many suitable treatments can be found from the past two thousand years’ literatures. Based on the traditional Chinese medicine literatures, the research direction for SARS treatment can be started from: (1).The typhoid, seasonal febrile diseases, and pestilence. (2).Virus causes: such as measles. (3).The aetiologies, principles, and theories of traditional Chinese medicine: such as 溼熱, body cleaning, and body nurturing; (4).The symptoms of SARS, studying from the symptoms directly; (5).The possible SARS prescriptions and Chinese herbals; (6).Nurturing the body from the manners of compounding Chinese herbal to increase immunity, breathing technique therapy, naprapathy, and so on.
