    Abstract: 多酚類化合物具有抗氧化,捕捉自由基等作用。茜草科植物富含多酚類成分,本研究室之前自台灣產茜草科植物篩選出4 種甲醇萃取物,再經適當處理之產物KC-1T,KC-2T,KC-3T,KC-4T,具有酪胺酸.體外試驗抑製作用,且具濃度依存性。其中以 KC-2T(每mL 相當於原植物 7.2 mg)之活性為純成分熊果.(Arbutin,2.72 mg/mL)活性之1.5 倍,甚具開發潛力。故本計畫擬就KC-2T 進行動物試驗評估其美白作用,及其抑制黑色素生合成徑路之機轉,作用機轉之部分包括是否作用於:黑色素生成抑制試驗,酪胺酸.合成抑制試驗,直接阻斷酪胺酸.活性之試驗,以及是否抑制α-MSH(melanocyte-stimulating hormone)等作用點。此外亦將就KC-2T 原植物所含成分phytosterol, hexacosaconoic acid, sitosterol-3-O-glucoside, lupeol, oleanolic acid, triacontanoic acid, vanillic acid 等,進行酪胺酸.體外試驗,以瞭解何成分具酪胺酸.抑製作用,再進行有效性,安全性及作用機轉之探討。透過此研究,KC-2T 可期望開發成為具有效又安全之美白作用成分。
