Training Program for Instructors in Learning Traditional Chinese Medicine This study is according to the “Five-Year Plan of Establishing Medication Safety Environment of Chinese Medicine”, Committee on Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy, DOH, Executive Yuan, Taiwan. It is a trainning program for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) instructors and enforcing basic TCM education for primary and junior high schools students. The project will edit a colorful tutorial material which contains over 100 items of TCM. The trainning course includes TCM medicinal plants and crude drugs recognition knowledge. After finishing the trainning program, we will offer a certificate to whom pass the final test. The project will unite Academic groups, educations and health institutes, to hold workshop about TCM drug satety. The workshop will be held at six locations, Taipei, Hsinchung, Taichung, Chiayi, Kaohsiung and Hualien. We hope this trainning program can initiate the knowledge about TCM drug satety and information and also assist government to develop the drug safety environment.
