The study focuses on establishing the partnership and exploring the effect of community mental health home nursing visiting services. The purposes of the study are to establish the partnership; to explore the effect; to improve the quality of care in community mental health home services; to reduce the burdens on patients and clients’ families and to increase their coping abilities. The main aim of the first year is to set up the partnership model of community mental health home nursing visiting services. Qualitative research method will be used to collect data by means of focus group interview (according to semi-structured interview guide-aiming for five times interviews) and unstructured participant observation. In second year, the major concern focuses on proceeding plan intervention and executing effect evaluation according to the model, which is connected to the first year. Quasi-experimental research design method will be used to execute pre-test hold a week early before plan intervention and post-test hold a week later after six months experiment. Evaluation includes scales and effect estimate indexes. Evaluation objects include mental disorders (need and service satisfaction scales, irregular case review rate, ER utility rate, readmission rate, self-injury (suicide) behavior), clients’ families (burdens, adaption, and service satisfaction scales) and nurses (attitude, knowledge, skill, and workload scales). The research method, estimate indexes, and evaluation objects of the third year are the same to the second year’s. The aim is to intervene revised plan and evaluate the effect on the basis of the effect evaluation got in the second year and to continue intervention plan schedule in the second year. Twice post-test is proceeded in order to evaluate the long-term effect of intervention plan half-yearly. Finally, in this study, the model of establishing partnership of localization community mental health home nursing visiting services will be set up for providing reference resources to related organizations.
