    摘要: 活動性理論(Activity Theory)已在國外的數位學習環境中普遍的被應用,然而國內卻較少有相關的探討。活動性理論強調個人(subject)與社群(community)整合與合作,進而產生有意義的結果(object) 。本研究計畫就是以活動性理論(Activity Theory) 做為建置行動數位學習環境的理論依據。一般而言,數位學習環境與系統的評估可分為兩大方向,其一為對於數位學習環境與系統的成效評估,而這方面的重點強調系統的有效性與可用性,除此之外,對於學習者因使用數位學習系統而產生學習上的成效亦為研究的重點。另一方向為對於學習者使用數位學習系統的認知或態度評估,而這方面的重點則強調以學習者的角色切入,探討學習者對於數位學習系統的使用態度與接受程度。而本研究計畫就是以這個方向切入,在活動性理論為基礎的架構之下,研究學習者對於數位學習環境的使用態度與接受程度,進而評估行動數位學習系統的成效。近年來,由於普及式計算技術(ubiquitous computing)及無線網路科技(wireless networks)的發達,再加上行動載具與其相關軟體技術的普及化,就學習的方便行與普遍性而言,無所不在的行動化數位學習環境的建置就顯得有其必要性。本研究計畫將行動概念整合於活動性理論的數位學習環境。基於此,本研究計畫建置行動式數位學習環境是有其急迫性。

    A broad range of educational research has shown that it is not possible to understand fully how people learn if learner variables are left out. Therefore, human relations and resources are likely a center of learning theories recently. In other words, understanding the relations among individuals, instruction, and social communication is a new educational paradigm. Activity theory is a form of sociocultural analysis that focuses on the activity system as the unit of analysis, rather than the learner. Activity systems are collective human constructions that are not reducible to discrete individual actions. Vygotsky (1978) point out that mind emerges through interactions with others and environment, mediated by artifacts, signs, and language. In an activity system, the subject means the individual or group of members engaged in the activity. Objects of activity systems are artifacts those produced by the system. Tools are that the subject uses them for acting on the object. Rules operate in any context or community refers to the explicit regulations, policies, and conventions that constrain activity as well as the implicit social norms, standards, and relationships among members of the community (Jonassen, 2002). The community consists of the individuals and subgroups that focus at least some of their effort on the object. Division of labor refers both to the horizontal division of tasks between cooperating members of the community and also to the vertical division of power and status (Engestrom, 1999). Based on characteristics of mobile learning and activity theory, the activity mobile e-learning systems will be developed and designed in this project. In this project, based on user-focused approach, learner attitudes factors toward the e-learning environments will be investigated and analyzed. In addition, this project will design a mobile e-learning system. Moreover, the learner attitudes model toward the e-learning environments will be investigated and analyzed.
